GWC 400 Club draw

The GWC 400 Club draw for March 2015 was made by Dave Cox, the project site manager, on 19 March. The monthly draw winning ticket for £50 was No. 171 .

We would encourage all members and friends of the GWC clubs to join the GWC 400 Club. With the granting of the planning permission for the new extensions and with it, the purchase of the total grass area by the Centre on a very long lease, we are into a new phase of fund raising.

All profits from the 400 Club go to paying off the current Guildford Waterside Centre's loans and fund raising for the new developments at the Centre.

The contract for the works for the New Kayak Store and the Main Hall extension started on 5 January. If all goes well and funds come in, we hope to finish the New Kayak Store construction by Easter 2015. This just leaves the fitting out, access walkway and landscaping to be completed asap. The Main Hall extension, after some delays, is on course for completion by the end of June.

Full details on how to join the GWC 400 Club can be found on the Wey Kayak Club website www.weykayak.co.uk. They are also attached here. Each 'ticket' cost just £2.00 a month and can be paid for by monthly Standing Order if more convenient.
